Prof. Dr. Hasan Bayram from Koç University School of Medicine will contribute to the joint coronavirus research project between Turkey and China

In the framework of the Scientific and Technological Cooperation Protocol between The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) and the China National Natural Research Foundation (NSFC), it was decided to support selected research projects in 2020.

Both sides will support collaborative research projects in the field of novel coronavirus research, support China and Turkey Scientists join hands to fight the new crown pneumonia epidemic.

According to the evaluation results of the two parties and the mutual consultation between the two organizations, the four projects will be funded.

The project implementation period is from January 2021 to December 2022 (two years).
