Koç University CASE and GSB Achieve “Triple Crown” Accreditation!

Koç University becomes Turkey’s first and only university to have ‘‘Triple Crown’‘ accreditation.


The Koç University College of Administrative Sciences and Economics and Graduate School of Business have been granted accreditation by the global accreditation institution AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). Having previously attained AMBA and EQUIS accreditations, Koç University has become the first and only academic institution in Turkey to have the “Triple Crown” of the three most prestigious accreditations in this field.

The Koç University College of Administrative Sciences and Economics and Graduate School of Business were granted accreditation by AACSB International, an established global accreditation organization in its field and the largest business education network in the world connecting students, educators, and businesses around the world.

Having previously been granted AMBA and EQUIS accreditations, with this latest accreditation, Koç University has become the first and only institution of higher education in Turkey to have the “Triple Crown” of the three prestigious accreditations. This accolade puts Koç University among less than the top one percent of business management schools globally.

Commenting that the College and Graduate School were granted AACSB accreditation thanks to the efforts of every member of the university community, Koç University College of Administrative Sciences and Economics Academic Director Prof. Zeynep Gürhan Canlı made the following remarks:

“By being recognized by the AACSB community, we have received our third accreditation. In this respect, we are proud to have attained the accolade of “triple accreditation” possessed by the top business schools around the world. Receiving this accreditation means that the excellence of Koç University in education, including in such fields as teaching, research, curriculum development, and student enrollment and experience, is recognized in global standards. I present my thanks to our faculty, administrative personnel, and students for their significant contributions to the attainment of this honor.”
